- Address your audience on your site. Example: "Welcome Internet Marketers." If you have more than one, treat them all.
- Make sure your site’s content and graphics are relevant to your website theme. You do not want to use a graphic bird on a Business Web site.
- Alert by e-mail visitors when adding new content to your website. It reminds people to return to your website.
- Offer a way for visitors to contact you on each web page. List your e-mail, fax number and phone number.
- Giving people the chance to see your Web site offline. Offer answering machine or a print version.
- Make sure at least 50 f your content is original. The other option is to offer something else other than the original content, such as software or a utility line.
- Give your visitors incentives to review your website. You can give them new content, ebooks, software, Webzine, etc.
- Post a FAQ for your company, products and website. They may have questions about several parts of your business.
- Make sure all links on the navigation bar are clickable. If people can not get where they want to go, they will leave.
- Organize your web site in logical sequence and profitable. You do not want to give a freebie before they learned about the product (s) you sell.
